Granddaughters/Guest room redo underway

So I found out over the weekend that Hubby and I would have M all this week and we discovered that our oldest son, J and his oldest daughter, K would be coming up for a few days in about 10 days or so. So what better time for M and I to get her room done.

Today we moved both beds to the basement and Hubby only worked a partial day, so when he got home, he helped me move the big cabinet into his office. It's amazing how much stuff we put in garbage bags (all of her old dress up clothes, old magazines) and how many clothes that she has outgrown!!!

The plan for tomorrow is to paint the walls and some, if not all, of her furniture. We'll have to see how sore I am after all the hauling and moving from today. Yes, Naproxen is my friend!

M's Room

Ok, so when I decided to do this blog, I wondered what to write about. My middle granddaughter, M, had asked if we could redo her room at our house and so this will be my first post. These are the BEFORE pictures. DON'T JUDGE!
